FAQ
If you’re ordering accessories or extra temples and hinges, all you’ll need is your imagination. However, if you need a pair of glasses, you will need a valid prescription and your pupillary distance (PD). Your PD is the distance in millimeters between your pupils. If it is not on your prescription, please read our blog and watch our short video to show you how to find your measurement.
We process orders quickly, but we will do our best to help you if you need to make a change. The best way to change an order is to email us hello@mesquad.ca.
The best way to track your order is to click “Track my order” in your confirmation email. You can also view the status of your order by logging into your account.

If you have a camera on your computer, an iPad, or are using a phone, try our virtual try-on tool. Design your frame as you like, click the “Try on Your Design” button, position your face in front of the camera and you will see how the frame looks on you as you designed it. How cool is that? To get the best fit, you will need your PD measurement. Find out how to take that measurement here. Alternatively, if you prefer to craft, go to our Paper try-on page, where you can download each style and cut out the design you want to try (with the help of a grown-up of course). The cut-outs are the exact shape and size of the original.
Every child is different – YAY!! There is no one size fits all with glasses. The age range indicated on the product page is just an estimate as some kids faces are wider or narrower, regardless of age. Our virtual-try on tool is pretty spot on, so if you like a frame, try-it on, virtually. Use the age range given as just a tool to help guide you through your selection.

That’s a great question and we’re working on fixing it. But in the meantime, our translucent colours (black, red, blue, pink and purple) are in fact clear and that is what you will receive. You will see it on the try-on tool, but not when selecting your pieces.
We can fill most prescriptions. However, there are a few that can be tricky. When we receive your prescription, we will go over it first and discuss with you if there may be potential difficulties filling it.
Here are some of the terms you’ll see
on your prescription:
OD: Oculus Dexter – means “right eye” in Latin
OS: Oculus sinister – means “left eye” in Latin
SPH: Sphere – the strength of your lense and it goes together with a “+” (farsighted) or “–“ (nearsighted)
CYL: Cylinder indicates you have a condition where the lens of your eye is irregularly shaped causing blurred vision, in other words, astigmatism.
If you do not see a number listed, good news, that means you do not have astigmatism
